I spent the last few days without a laptop and it made me realise a lot.
I do depend on my laptop for more than I realised. Whether you agree or not being on the internet can be very social, and yet very isolating at the same time. I missed things like Skype but at the same time it was nice to sit and watch crap TV with my parents and stuff. I think a lot of what I spend vast amounts of time doing is a complete waste of time. Like just aimlessly browsing Twitter, Facebook and other sites. Tumblr is an exception as is deviantArt purely because one is addictively entertaining while the other is good for inspiration.

I've decided that I need to apply myself more this year. I finished school last year around June/July. I'd pretty much stopped trying, and my work ethic took an absolute dive. Apart from actual paid work, I really didn't put much effort in at all. I took massive periods of inactivity, not only on dA, but also on my course, and in life in general. Just flicked through my own gallery.
Hate it all apart from a couple pieces that are 'old' now.
Not even gonna be uploading anything till I'm satisfied with something.
I'm not down about it, I just realised it's all pretty crap, and would rather accept it as practice than upload it and have to look at it over and over.

I've hardly been on dA at all and Twitter is hard to keep up with. I've become a Tumblr junky since last year.

Tumblr is such a bad addiction of mine now! xD i've even had it up in history class when my teacher isn't looking and hiding it with another tab (I get so paranoid about getting caught lol)

It's an addiction when you open tabs for all your sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, dA, E-mail, Youtube. Then two minutes later it's Tumblr, Tumblr, Tumblr, Tumblr, Tumblr, Tumblr).
I love your current tumblr so would definitely be an instant follow if you make moar. My thing with Tumblr is you don't need anyone to give approval or even to have an instant following to run a blog. If you have an interest, and you want to blog about it, go for it. It's entertaining just running one and who knows people might notice. I say go for it.
Also paintballing is freakin ace. Might be going next month. Nearly broke my pinky last time though xD
